Your hands never leave the wheel, which allows you to concentrate on exploiting the outrageous acceleration and grip on offer until, to your amazement, you find yourself pushing the car - rather than the other way around - oblivious to the G forces battering your body. Suddenly you are in the zone: you are a single seater racing driver. If there’s a greater adrenalin rush, we’ve not come across it.
